Day 1
Day 1: ARRIVAL IN DHAKA & VISIT SONARGAON
Night in flight. Arrival in Dhaka, reception at the airport and transfer to accommodation. After settling in, we will go to Sonargaon, the old Bengali capital, twenty-five kilometers from Dhaka, where we will visit the ghost town of Panam City and its colonial and pre-colonial buildings. In the afternoon return to Dhaka for overnight.Meal plan: breakfast.
Day 2
Day 2: DHAKA CITY SIGHTSEEING
In the morning we will visit the port of Sadarghat, Ahsan Manzil, the former residential Palace of the Nawab, the Tara Masjid (the star mosque) and the museum. Stroll through the Shakariya Bazar Hindu street. In the afternoon we will visit the city theater to watch a show. Overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day 3
Day 3: DHAKA - PUTHIA - RAJSHAHI
During the journey we will visit towns and markets. In the afternoon stop in Puthia and visit some of the most impressive temples in the country: Govinda, dedicated to Krishna, and Shiva. This city is also famous for its terracotta crafts that adorn the temples. En-route visit different Santhal villages, one of the oldest and largest ethnic minorities in Bangladesh. Night in Rajshahi.
Day 4
Day 4: RAJSHAHI - MYMENSINGH
In the morning start for Mymensingh where we will meet the Garu ethnic group. Meeting with the population. Overnight atMymensingh.
Day 5
Day 5: MYMENSINGH - SREEMANGAL
Depart for Sreemangal, the capital of tea. Visit of the city by bicycle (optional) and tea plantations. Overnight stayat Sreemangal.
Day 6
Day 6: SREEMANGAL LOCAL VISIT
In the morning we enter the Lawachara forest where the Khasia ethnic group lives. Visit of the town, the school and meeting with the population. In the afternoon we visit the village of Monipuri, the only Hindu tribe in Bangladesh. Overnight stay at Sreemangal.
Day 7
Day 7: SREEMANGAL - CHATTOGRAM
Drive to Chattogramen-route visit World War II Cemetery at Cumilla& Ship Arrival at Chattogram in the evening. Overnight Stay at Chattogram.
Day 8
Day 8: CHATTOGRAM - RANGAMATI
In the morning visit Ethnological Museum & departure to Rangamati (77 km). Several ethnic groups cohabit in Rangamati like Chakma, Marma, Tanchanga etc. They are mainly Buddhist. Visit of the tribal market, the Buddhist monastery and boating on the Kaptai lake. Overnight at hotel in Rangamati.
Day 9
Day 9: RANGAMATI - BANDARBAN
After breakfast visit Buddhist temple of Raj BanaVihara. On our way will cross some villages until we reach Bandarban where we will visit some tourist places in Bandarban. Overnight stay atHotel inBandarban
Day 10
Day 10: BANDARBAN - COX'S BAZAR
In the morning we enjoy a cruise on the Sangu River & will visit some Tribal Villages. In the afternoon leave for Cox's Bazar via Ramu Buddhist Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel in Cox’sBazar
Day 11
Day 11: COX’S BAZAR – DHAKA
Willenjoy the beach drive through marine drive road towards Inanicoral beach. Also enjoy Himchari Eco Park. Visit local market run by the Tribes. Take evening flight to Dhaka. Overnight stay Hotel.
Day 12
Day 12: DEPARTURE DHAKA
Free time in the interesting capital, in time transfer to the city airport to catch your return flight.
